Not-for-Profit Roundtables

Next date: Small charities governance miscellany. Ran in partnership with the Small Charities Coalition. TBC

The CGIUKI not-for-profit roundtables are aimed at governance and compliance professionals currently working, or involved, in the not for profit sectors. The roundtable provides an opportunity for knowledgeable professionals to share concerns regarding various governance matters affecting the sector, to learn and network with peers. As such, participants should come willing to contribute fully to the discussion.

The events are free and attract CPD credits, however places are limited to ensure that there is sufficient detailed discussion of the topic under consideration. Successful participants will receive a short briefing before the event to assist in their preparation. The format of the meetings is as follows:

13.15    Welcome and introductions

13.30    Discussion of the topic, including adding anonymous observations to the ‘comments wall’

16.15    Discussion conclusions and thanks

16.30    Roundtable closes

Discussion generated by the roundtable will be used by the CGIUKI policy team to develop new guidance and activity ideas and also provide content for Governance and Compliance magazine, blogs and other CGIUKI material. Comments may be attributed to the event, but not to individuals (or the organisations they represent) unless express permission is given.

To share your ideas for future governance topics related to the charity, health, local government and education sectors, please email Louise Thomson
